About

I am a Kansas City based artist and have been making art for as long as I can remember. As the great-great-granddaughter of an Italian immigrant artist, maybe it was my destiny or maybe my dream was my own, but either way, creating art is my peace and my joy.

I studied Commercial Art with an emphasis in Illustration at Central Missouri State University. I worked in graphic design for ten years, then after my two girls were born, I began pursuing my real dream of painting. We built an art studio in our home and I have been painting regularly in this space ever since.

I paint colorful, dreamlike landscapes, inspired by the vastness of the Midwest. I do enjoy many other subjects and mediums as well, and try not to limit myself too much. I believe part of the joy of making art is finding creativity and inspiration outside of one’s comfort zone.

I show my work at art fairs and galleries, and offer original paintings and prints here on my site and my Etsy shop.
